Cognac-Châteaubernard Airshow 15/16 may 2004

On the late evening of may 14th Mo, Jeff, Dave and me began our long weekend trip to the south of France. The main event was the airshow at Cognac celebrating the 70th anniversary of the Armée de l'air. After a short visit on the second day, we drove further south to the airshow at Dax.

To celebrate this anniversary the organisation managed to show 70 Epsilons at the static-display.

Dax Airshow  16 may 2004

After the show at Cognac-Châteaubernard we went to the airshow at Dax. The distance between Dax and Cognac is about 280 kms. Unfortunally the helicopters on static display were parked between the spectators, so sometimes it was hard to take some good pictures. After our two hours visit overhere we went back home. This weekend we drove approx. 2800 kms.
